MshUp is built so your videos and music stay on your phone.
MshUp has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Your songs, videos, photos, and drafts never leave your phone.
The only thing MshUp sends is anonymous usage statistics, so we can see which features people use and fix problems. For example: that the app was opened, that a video was saved, which effect or filter was used, that the Pro screen was shown, or that Pro was purchased (the plan and price). Each event also includes the app version, your phone's operating system version, and the app's language.
These statistics are tied to a random ID created by the app, not to your name, email, Apple or Google account, phone number, contacts, or advertising ID. We don't use them for advertising, we don't sell or share them, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. They're processed by PostHog, our analytics provider, which stores them for us and doesn't keep your IP address.
None of this is uploaded to MshUp or any server. On iPhone, if you use iCloud Backup, Apple may include MshUp's data in your own private iCloud backup, the same as for any app. That backup is controlled by you and Apple, not by us. On Android, MshUp's data is left out of Google's cloud backup.
MshUp Pro is sold through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google handle all payments; we never see your name, email, or payment details. Our anonymous statistics only note which plan was bought and its price.
